Overview

The Trails and Open Space Committee advises the Mayor and Town Council on all aspects of trails and open space management, including:

  1. Evaluating and enhancing existing trails and open space
  2. Developing and implementing educational programs
  3. Serving as a source

The Coordinator for the Committee is Jacqui Olea.

Members

The Committee is formed of seven people acting in a voluntary capacity. At least five of the volunteers shall be Silver City residents or owners of businesses located in Silver City. Initial appointments will be for three one-year terms, and four two-year terms. Thereafter, all appointments shall be two-year terms.

Currently there are no open positions on the Trails and Open Space Advisory Committee.
