Open Meetings Act Compliance

    I Ken Ladner Mayor of the Town of Silver City, do hereby proclaim October 6–12, 2019, as 
    “FIRE PREVENTION WEEK”
    throughout the town, and I urge all the people of Silver City to be aware of their surroundings, look for available ways out in the event of a fire or other emergency, respond when the smoke alarm sounds by exiting the building immediately, and to support the many public safety activities and efforts of the Silver City Fire Department during Fire Prevention Week 2019.

    I, Ken Ladner, Mayor of the Town of Silver City, Grant County, New Mexico, in view of the inherent value of this, do hereby proclaim September 17 through 23, 2019, as "Constitution Week" and ask our citizens to reaffirm the ideals of the Framers of the Constitution in 1787 by vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us through this guardian of our liberties, remembering that lost rights may never be regained.

GIVE LOCAL DAY" and be it further proclaimed that for all citizens it is the official day of providing financial support for all of the causes that continue to move our County forward.
