About the Noise Ordinance Committee
The Noise Ordinance Committee was created September 11, 2007, to make recommendations to the Town Council on all aspects in the development of a comprehensive and enforceable Noise Ordinance.
The Noise Ordinance Advisory Committee consists of seven (7) people acting in a voluntary capacity. At least one shall be from each voting district of the Town, and the remaining three may be selected from any district.
The Committee members will be appointed by the Mayor, with consensus of the Council. A Committee chairperson will be chosen by the Committee members at their initial meeting. The chairperson will also serve as a liaison with the Town Staff.
The Committee makes recommendations to the Town Council on all aspects in the development of a comprehensive and enforceable Noise Ordinance.
