Town Rules and Regulations
The Town's Rules and Regulations are fully enforceable, and to the same extent as an Ordinance.

The Silver City Fire Department has created rules governing the display of banners on Bullard Street downtown. Please review these rules and contact the fire department at (575) 538-2591 to schedule banner placement or for clarifications. (read) - No Skateboarding Allowed Downtown
Per City Ordinance granting the Town Managerauthority to regulate all city properties, the followingis the Town Manager’s decision:
Skate boarding will be allowed on all Town of SilverCity sidewalks, except for Bullard Street, fromCollege Avenue to San Vicente Street; and onBroadway Street, from Cooper Street to Highway 90(Hudson Street)
Skate-boarders will continue to be required to followall Town and State of New Mexico laws for the useof skateboards. The Town Manager stresses thatskate-boarders be courteous to pedestrians onsidewalks, as per the law, pedestrians have theright-of-way on these sidewalks.
