Street Equipment Operator
The Town of Silver City is accepting applications for the position of Street Equipment Operator.

Responsibilities include: responsible for the operation of all divisional light and heavy equipment when performing street operations, construction, maintenance, or repairs. Equipment consists of dump trucks, backhoe, street sweeper, power broom, grader, dozer, etc.
Requirements include: NM Class D Driverís License; CDL preferred, or must obtain within six months of hire; high school diploma or equivalent; three years experience with the operation of light and heavy equipment; three years experience with general street maintenance, but may be substituted with experience in related field; should be familiar with safe operation of equipment; ability to perform daily maintenance checks of equipment and vehicles; ability to lift 50 lbs.; and ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
Application with copy of high school diploma or equivalent and valid NM Class D driverís license must be submitted by June 8, 2017, to the Town of Silver City, Personnel Office, 101 W. Broadway, Silver City, NM 88061. The Town of Silver Cityís hiring policy is available for review at City Hall.
