Open Meetings Act workshop
An "Open Meetings Act" workshop will be conducted by Randy Van Vleck, general counsel of the New Mexico Municipal League, on Thursday, October 30 at 1 pm in the Western New Mexico University Student Memorial Building Seminar Room. This presentation would be beneficial to elected officials, clerks, city and county managers, school board members, water district board members, and any other governmental agency, appointed board members and staff. Silver City library digital literacy open house
The Silver City Public Library will be hosting an open house on Thursday, October 30, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm to tell the community about their free technology training project. Guest speakers will begin at 5 pm and will include Christine Logan, Community, Business and Rural Development Representative at the New Mexico Economic Development Department; Kim Clark, Association Executive of the Silver City Regional Association of Realtors; and Lynda Aiman-Smith, Silver City Town Councilor.
